By accessing or using Car Deal X-Ray ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Car Deal X-Ray is a consumer tool that analyzes vehicle financing and lease quotes. The Service provides financial calculations, deal scoring, and negotiation guidance based on the numbers you enter. The Service is informational only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice.
All calculations, scores, findings, and recommendations provided by the Service are estimates based on the information you enter and general financial formulas. They are not a guarantee of actual loan terms, payments, or costs. Always verify numbers with your lender or dealer before signing any agreement. The Service does not recommend whether you should enter into any specific deal.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You retain ownership of the deal information you enter. Your data is private to your account — other users cannot see your deals, scenarios, or feedback. You may delete your data at any time within the app.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access another user's data; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (d) use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service; or (e) share your account with others.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Car Deal X-Ray and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any financial decisions made based on the Service's output.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We collect: (a) your email address and password (hashed) for account authentication; (b) the deal information you enter (vehicle details, financial numbers, notes); (c) documents you upload for extraction (processed and discarded after extraction); (d) usage analytics to improve the Service.
Your data is used to: (a) provide deal analysis and scoring; (b) save and display your deals; (c) generate negotiation guidance; (d) improve our calculation engine and user experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Access to your deals is restricted to your account through row-level security. We use encryption in transit and at rest. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure.
When you upload a quote or document for extraction, the file is stored privately and used only to extract the numbers you requested. Files are not shared with other users and are not used for any other purpose.
If you purchased access through our online store, we verify your email against our order records to activate your account. We only check whether a paid order exists for your email — we do not access or store your order details.
You may: (a) access your data at any time within the app; (b) delete individual deals or your entire deal history; (c) request account deletion by contacting support. Deleting a deal is permanent and cannot be undone.
The Service uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. We do not use advertising trackers.
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
